Just over a month ago I moved up to the Blue Mountains. A dream come true for me. Clean air. Great life style. Great people. Scenery to die for. So many historic places to visit. So on my trusty BMW I will Roam the Blue Mountains and see what I come across.
First place I have had a chance to take photos at is the John Whitton Memorial at Emu Plains. I know not exactly the Blue Mountains. It is at the base of the range. John Whitton had a lot to do with railways here in NSW in the 1800s. Click on his name above to read more about him. All of these photos have been taken with my mobile phone.
The remains of this sandstone dwelling are at the Memorial site. I do not know the connection between the two.
