Wrench'n Ride'n

I shot some video today. Well I did use my small digital camera. It was bloody cold. I can't shoot from the bike so it is boring. Anyway here it is and it relates to a ride I did today with some of the BikeMe gang.

"I wanted to go to Road Warriors too." is what Lilly said yesterday when I got home from my ride. So another ride up there was on. So I took her there today. I ride better when I have a pillion. Keeps the hoon in me in the cage. I know how can you hoon on a big BMW land ship. But you get my drift. I am smoother through the corners with a pillion. So I enjoyed today's ride so much more than yesterday. I bored Lilly with taking photos of the bikes that interest me. We had hot chips for lunch and then came home. She enjoyed the ride. There were lots of Jap sports bikes there today. All boring. To me anyway. GSXRs and R1s and R6s. Below are photos of what I think are very interesting bikes. When was the last time you saw a Benelli 750 6 cylinder bike from the late 70s? Or a 1270cc NOS equipped Ninja? I think this may have been in Rapid Magazine some time back. How about a Guzzi Le Mans MK.III in white? Or a café BMW R65? They were all up there today and more.

No ride report for today's ride. Roads I have done reports on before so wont bore you all. What was interesting was the 3 white bikes at Road Warriors Cafe, Mt White. Lovely Bonnie. 08 Busa and Road Warrior's TRX 850.

My top box has arrived back in Sydney. Thank you Quoll for posting it down to me. You may remember that my top box decided it didn't like dirt roads and flung itself off the bike on the Byalong Valley Way. At the time I didn't really pay much attention to the damage inflicted upon it. I was just worried about my camera inside. Also if it would decide to throw itself at anyone behind me. Now that it is back with me I can see that it is one tough bit of plastic. Sure it has some scratches. It is still very structurally sound though. So it is going back onto the bike. I know it is heavy and affects the handling a bit. The 3 pillions I have are missing it as a thing to help them lever themselves up onto the pillion seat. This time it will be bolted down. It shall not fell the sting of the road again. I hope these are not famous last words.
