Michael not only rides a great bike, (hey I am biased) but he takes some really great photos. Here is two more form his ride to the MotoGP. The start of the 35 kms from Whitfield to Mansfield, 20 of which are sharp corners. The road abruptly goes up a big mountain range then slopes down slowly, the highest part is often cold and foggy. Just below the top of Mt. Hotham .

On the road to the MotoGP. As I said last night Michael likes to travel on country back roads. This is a great mood photo. Yes that is the same Traveller that went to Finland. The old bridge over the Murray on the border near Tooma.

Our roving Traveller rider, Michael Barnes, went to the MotoGP last weekend. Lucky guy. He took photos of this trip. He didn’t use the Highways but lots of country back roads. He had a safe trip there and back. As he sends them to me I will post up the photos from his trip. Here are some from the Island itself. The seagull security squad ensured there were no more incidents involving thrill seeking penguins. Southern end of the circuit. Much louder and much faster than they appear on TV.

Lets have a look at a very special MuZ. This bike is owned by Muzzer from Belgium. I have only meet him online on the forums at http://forum.monoconnection.nl/ . He is a great guy and one day I hope we can ride our MuZs togther. So over to Muzzer and he can tell us about his bike. From Skorpion Sport to Sport Cafe Racer. What happened before? Somewhere in January 2001 I was looking for a MuZ Skorpion Sport, second hand. Why? ‘cause it ’s one of the rarest and nicest payable one cylinder sportbike ever. The connection? Yamaha SZR, Bimota mono and Ducati mono. Honda TT or GB was never imported in Belgium. Till than (since 1981) I only had Japanese two and four cylinder bikes, mostly up 100bhp. On the internet I found a green metallic beauty with only 6000miles on the clock, no accidents as good as new. Price was alright, so a week later it was MINE. I offered my Kawasaki ZZR600 to my wife and see was the happiest woman on earth. Ok, two bikes in the garage, nice! Stage one: I used the Mu...

Four of us did a ride today. Chickbabe (2004 Suzuki GS500F) , Sleddog (Suzuki Boulevard 800) , Swiss (Honda VTR 250) and me on the MuZ. We meet McGraths Hill. Then rode to Wisemans Ferry, crossing the river via the ferry then onto Spencer, Mangrove Mountain, Kulnura then down into Yarramalong. We then turned around and headed for Road Warriors Café at Mt White via Peats Ridge. After lunch at Road Warriors it was on down the Old Pacfic Hwy turning off at Berowra. Using the Ferry there we crossed another river and headed back into suburbia. Was a great ride. When can we go for a ride again??? Swiss and Sleddog at the meeting point. Chickbabe has arrived.
